We are building a modern, patient-focused dental office with an emphasis on providing high-quality care in a welcoming and positive environment. We are looking for someone who is organized, clinically confident, personable, and works well as part of a team. Responsibilities Assisting the dentist during general, restorative, surgical, and implant procedures, ensuring all tools are ready and properly handed. Fabricating and adjusting temporary crowns and bridges Preparing and turning over treatment rooms Taking digital X-rays Sterilization and infection-control procedures Taking impressions and/or digital scans Reviewing post-operative instructions with patients Maintaining instruments, supplies, and treatment rooms Helping keep the clinical schedule running efficiently Providing a comfortable and positive experience for our patients Manage patient flow by greeting patients, updating medical records, recording vital signs Ensure compliance with clinical confidentiality policies and HIPAA regulations when handling medical documentation and records. Educate patients on oral health care instructions, post-operative care, and preventive practices to promote overall dental wellness. Maintain dental equipment functionality through routine checks and coordinate with technical support for repairs or updates. Qualifications Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and clinical procedures across general dentistry disciplines including oral surgery and endodontics. Experience with dental x-ray techniques, including intraoral and panoramic imaging, ensuring safety standards are met. Previous dental assisting experience strongly preferred CDA preferred NJ dental radiology license preferred Must be comfortable fabricating temporary crowns and bridges Experience with restorative dentistry, oral surgery, and implants is a plus Dentrix experience is a plus Digital scanning experience is a plus Strong communication and organizational skills Reliable, professional, and team-oriented Motivated to learn and grow with the practice This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their career in healthcare support while making a positive impact on patients' lives through excellent dental care practices!

Schedule:

Monday-Thursday Full-time position

No Fridays Compensation:

$28-$34/hour, depending on experience and qualifications We are looking for someone who wants to become a long-term part of our team as the practice grows.
