Full-Time / Part-Time About the Position We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and motivated Dental Assistant to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent patient care while assisting the dentist with clinical procedures and helping maintain an efficient, welcoming dental office. Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms and dental instruments for patient procedures. Assist the dentist during examinations and dental procedures. Take and develop dental X-rays as permitted by applicable regulations. Sterilize and disinfect instruments and maintain proper infection-control procedures. Prepare dental materials and treatment areas. Obtain and record patient medical and dental histories. Provide patients with instructions regarding oral hygiene and post-treatment care. Maintain accurate and organized patient records. Assist with scheduling, patient flow, and other front-office duties as needed. Monitor and maintain dental supplies and equipment. Help create a comfortable and positive experience for patients. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Dental assisting education, certification, or previous dental experience preferred. Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or required as applicable. X-ray certification/permit preferred or required as applicable. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Professional, compassionate, and patient-focused attitude. Ability to follow OSHA, infection-control, and office safety procedures.
