Job Description

Established 3 office Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Practice with immediate opening for surgical/dental assistants with
CDA, RDA
. Salary dependent upon experience. Current NJ Dental X-ray license a must. Must be able to rotate to all 3 of our South Jersey locations (Haddonfield, Washington Twp, Woolwich Twp). Oral surgery experience helpful but will provide training to the right candidate. Terrific benefits and work environment. Responsibilities
  • Assist oral surgeons during procedures, including oral surgery and dental implant placements.
  • Perform chairside assisting duties, ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients.
  • Utilize knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy to support the surgical team.
  • Maintain aseptic technique and infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
  • Handle radiology duties, including X-rays, while adhering to radiation health and safety guidelines.
  • Utilize EMR systems and software for patient records and scheduling.
  • Uphold HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality at all times.
  • Assist with patient assessments, medical documentation, and medical coding as part of the healthcare team.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to provide high-quality care to patients undergoing oral surgery procedures.
