Full Job Description Overview:
As a Dental Assistant, you'll play an important role in delivering exceptional patient care and helping the clinical team provide high-quality dentistry. You'll work alongside dentists, specialists and other dental professionals to help patients feel comfortable and confident throughout their visit. From preparing patients and treatment rooms to assisting during procedures and educating patients, your work makes a difference every day. Responsibilities:
Prepare patients, treatment rooms, instruments and equipment for dental procedures. Assist dentists and specialists during examinations and dental procedures. Take and prepare dental X-rays and other diagnostic records, when permitted by state regulations and within your credentials. Provide patients with clear, compassionate guidance on oral hygiene and post-treatment care. Maintain appropriate infection control, sterilization and safety standards. Prepare and maintain dental instruments and supplies. Support an efficient, organized clinical environment. Help create a welcoming, comfortable experience for every patient. Work collaboratively with the entire dental team to deliver exceptional care.
Qualifications:
Radiology certification. Current CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain before your start date. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A genuine commitment to patient care. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Positive, dependable and willing-to-learn attitude. Previous dental assisting experience preferred, but qualified new dental assistants may be considered depending on the practice and state requirements.
Compensation:
$18-$21 per
