Our office is a friendly, patient-focused private dental practice looking for a Dental Assistant to join our team. Previous dental assisting experience is preferred, but not required. We're happy to consider someone who is newer to the field and has the right attitude, work ethic, and willingness to learn. We're seeking a Dental Assistant who is: Warm, friendly, and comfortable working with patients of all ages Reliable, punctual, and dependable A positive, team-oriented person Organized and attentive to detail Confident and motivated to learn and grow Eager to develop their clinical skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced dental environment Schedule Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Responsibilities Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures Prepare treatment rooms and instruments Take dental X-rays and impressions as applicable Assist with patient preparation, comfort, and education Maintain proper sterilization and infection-control protocols Keep operatories and the clinical area clean, organized, and well stocked Assist with laboratory procedures and case preparation as needed Provide a positive and welcoming experience for our patients Qualifications Previous dental assisting experience preferred, but not required Current certifications/licenses as applicable Familiarity with Open Dental preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well independently and as part of a team Professional, dependable, and patient-centered attitude Willingness to learn and take direction Why You'll Love Working With Us Supportive and upbeat team environment Competitive pay based on experience Opportunities for professional growth and continuing education Friendly, respectful workplace A team that values your contributions If you think you'd be a great addition to our team, we'd love to hear from you!
