Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring a smooth and efficient operation within our dental clinic. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to assist in various dental procedures while maintaining a patient-centered approach.

MONDAY:
8AM-4:30PM;
TUESDAYS 8AM-4
30
PM, WEDNESDAY:
9:30AM-7:00PM, THURSDAY 11:30AM-7PM. Please do not apply if you are not available. Please do not call the office, email is the preference mode of communication. Duties Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques. Prepare and maintain the treatment room, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready for use. Take dental radiographs (X-rays) including
PAN, CBCT.
Be able to use ITERO. Be able to take photographs for ortho treatment(Invisalign). Able to make temporaries if needed Has experience with milling units such as Fastmill io or Cerac mill. Has experience with in office teeth whitening Manage patient records, including medical history and treatment plans, while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions. Schedule appointments and manage the flow of patients in the clinic. Mange restorative lab cases and ortho cases Manage clinical supplies Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental clinic, including sterilization of instruments. Requirements Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role within a dental clinic setting. Familiarity with dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical records management. Experience with cloud based dental software is a plus but not mandatory. Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Certification as a Dental Assistant is preferred
