SALARY A
schedule designed for work-life balance: no regular Fridays or weekends, with office closures scheduled throughout the year. Approximately work only 15 days a month. We are seeking an experienced, dependable Dental Assistant who is confident clinically, highly organized, and able to work closely with the doctor to keep the clinical day efficient and patient-focused. Compensation & Schedule This is a salaried position paying $40,000 annually, based on our practice schedule of approximately 174 clinic-open days per year. This unique schedule offers an experienced dental professional a consistent workweek with significant scheduled time away from the clinic throughout the year.
Monday-Wednesday:
8:00 AM-5:00
PM Thursday:
6:45 AM-2:00 PM One Thursday per month may extend until 3:00 PM No regular Fridays No weekends Key Responsibilities Provide experienced chairside assistance during restorative and general dental procedures Anticipate the doctor's needs and help maintain an efficient clinical workflow Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, materials, and patients for procedures Take and process digital dental X-rays as permitted by applicable credentials Maintain accurate clinical documentation and confidently navigate Eaglesoft Review the daily schedule and prepare for upcoming treatment Follow sterilization and infection-control protocols Provide efficient room setup and turnover Maintain clinical supplies and assist with inventory management Provide clear pre- and post-operative instructions to patients Communicate professionally and compassionately with patients and team members Support established clinical systems and provide guidance to less-experienced team members when appropriate Qualifications Previous dental assisting experience required Eaglesoft experience strongly preferred Work efficiently and/or willing to learn with
CEREC, 3D
printing, and implants/surgery. Dental assisting certification and applicable credentials preferred Current CPR/BLS certification preferred Dental radiography experience Strong knowledge of sterilization and infection-control procedures Excellent organization, time-management, and patient communication skills Dependable, punctual, professional, and comfortable taking initiative Benefits & Practice Advantages $40,000 annual salary Approximately 174 clinic-open days per year Paid sick/flex time Paid holidays, PTO, and scheduled office closures.
