Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated Dental Assistant to join our amazing team! Our ideal candidate should be reliable, hardworking, dedicated, and have a positive attitude. We are asking for a minimum two years dental assisting experience. This is for a full-time position. Scarsdale Smiles is a well-established, general family dental practice, located in Scarsdale, NY. We have state of the art technology, which is completely digitized, in a new, beautiful office that is conveniently located. The number one goal of our amazing team is to help our patients reach optimal oral health. Responsibilities:
Escort patients to and from the treatment room Set-up, clean, sterilize operatories and instruments Taking Digital X-rays Scanning patients for treatment such as crowns, night guards and retainers Provide patient education on post-op instructions Record and sequence treatment plan as directed by the dentist Help patients feel comfortable Assist doctor during procedures and or hygienist with suctioning & perio charting Shipping and tracking of Lab cases Keeping track and Placing orders for inventory Knowledge of 3D printing is not required but is a plus
Skills:
Two years + dental assisting experience Self motivated Understanding of health & safety regulations Good computer skills (knowledge of Open Dental software is a plus but not required) Excellent communication and people skills Attention to detail Well-organized and reliable

Schedule:
NO WEEKENDS!
Office Hours are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 8am-5pm, Thursday 7am-2pm, and Friday 8am-4pm
Job Type:

$23.00 - $30.00 per hour
