Job Description

Job Summary Our small dental specialty practice is seeking a highly organized and responsible individual to join our team as a Dental Assistant / Office Assistant for two days per week (Mondays and Thursdays). Key responsibilities for this role include: Sterilization of instruments Chart scribing and report writing Maintenance of dental equipment and logging Assisting with phone and email correspondence as needed Providing chairside assisting when required Working hours would range from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with some variation possible. Flexibility on hours would be helpful since we are an emergency-based practice. While previous dental office work experience or shadowing is highly recommended, it is not required. We are willing to train the right person. Candidates must possess proficiency in Microsoft Word, the ability to copy/paste images, and experience with Outlook for scheduling and emailing. Hourly pay of $25-$30 per hour, depending on experience. ________________ Previous clinic experience in a dental or healthcare setting is highly preferred Critical care experience or acute care background enhances ability to handle emergency situations effectively Familiarity with medical documentation, medical terminology, and electronic health records (EHR) management is essential (Dentrix knowledge a plus) Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR is required to ensure readiness for emergency response (office willing to pay for certification) Experience with manual handling techniques to assist with patient positioning and equipment setup is advantageous Knowledge of dental imaging is beneficial Strong communication skills are necessary

$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
