Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The Dental Assistant will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care across general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, prosthodontics, and endodontics. Duties Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures, including chairside assisting and four-handed dentistry techniques. Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, ensuring aseptic technique and infection control protocols are strictly followed. Take and develop dental X-rays, while maintaining proper radiation safety standards. Manage medical documentation and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy. Provide patient education on oral health care, post-treatment instructions, and preventive practices. Maintain dental supplies inventory and sterilize instruments according to infection control standards. Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, updating medical records, and assisting with billing or coding as needed. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth clinic operations and excellent patient experience. Skills Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and various dental specialties including prosthodontics, endodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry. Experience with X-ray procedures, medical imaging techniques, preferred. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols to ensure patient safety and confidentiality. Ability to perform chairside assisting efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining aseptic technique. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients of all ages, including pediatric patients. Ability to work collaboratively within a team focused on delivering high-quality dental care.
