We are seeking a skilled, motivated, and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our growing dental team. What You Will Do Assist dentists during a wide range of procedures, including restorative dentistry, fillings, crowns, root canals, implant procedures, oral surgery, emergency care, and complex treatments. Provide efficient chairside assistance using four-handed dentistry techniques. Prepare patients for treatment while ensuring comfort, communication, and a positive experience. Anticipate the dentist's needs and help procedures run smoothly and efficiently. Prepare, sterilize, and organize instruments, trays, and treatment rooms according to OSHA, CDC, and infection-control standards. Take and process digital X-rays, panoramic images, and intraoral photographs. Prepare dental materials including restorative materials, impressions, temporary crowns, and procedure setups. Maintain accurate patient records, medical histories, and treatment documentation using dental software. Educate patients regarding treatment procedures, postoperative instructions, and oral hygiene. Maintain inventory levels, organize supplies, and assist with ordering materials when needed. Collaborate with the entire dental team to improve workflow, efficiency, and patient care. Qualifications Required:

High school diploma or GED. Dental assisting experience preferred. Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and terminology. Dental X-ray certification (required where applicable). CPR/BLS certification. Knowledge of

OSHA, CDC

infection-control guidelines, and HIPAA compliance. Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Preferred:

Graduate of an accredited Dental Assisting program. Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or equivalent certification. 1-2+ years of dental assisting experience (more experience preferred). Experience with Dentrix or other dental practice management software. Experience with implants, surgery, endodontics, or advanced restorative dentistry. Compensation & Growth Opportunity Compensation is directly tied to clinical ability, independence, and experience.
