We are looking for a team player to join our great dental team as a Dental Assistant or EFDA and play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care! In this energetic position, you will support dentists during procedures, ensure a smooth workflow, and create a welcoming environment for patients of all ages. Your expertise in dental assisting, infection control, and medical documentation will help us maintain the highest standards of dental health and patient satisfaction. MONDAY-THURSDAY NO WEEKENDS AND NO EVENINGS!
Open to Full-Time or Part-Time candidates Responsibilities Assist dentists chairside during various procedures including general dentistry. Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments, materials, and supplies while maintaining aseptic techniques and infection control protocols. Take X-rays, including 3D scans, ensuring accurate positioning and patient comfort. Experience with Dentrix (Preferred), ensuring HIPAA compliance for confidentiality. Support four-handed dentistry practices to maximize efficiency and reduce procedure time. Prepare treatment rooms and patients for dental procedures. Assist the dentist during a variety of procedures. Take digital radiographs (X-rays) and intraoral photos. Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control protocols. Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative instructions. Maintain accurate patient records. Manage clinical supplies and keep operatories clean and organized. Support the team in delivering an outstanding patient experience. Inventory and ordering Communicating and following up with dental labs Skills Proficiency in dental assisting techniques including chairside assisting, medical documentation, and medical coding. Restorative proficiency (EFDA ONLY) Experience with Dentrix- preferred not mandatory. Knowledge of infection control standards and aseptic techniques to ensure a safe clinical environment. Familiarity with dental terminology. Ability to operate dental imaging equipment including X-ray machines and 3D scanners with precision (must of radiography license). Strong understanding of anatomy knowledge relevant to dental procedures and medical terminology for accurate documentation. Positive attitude, dependable, and a team player.
Pay:
$22.00 - $38.00 per hour
