Take and record vital signs and patient assessments to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Manage patient records using Dentrix ensuring all documentation complies with HIPAA regulations. Skills Proficiency in dental terminology and familiarity with general dentistry procedures is essential for effective patient support. Experience working with Dentrix enhances workflow efficiency. Knowledge of specialized fields such as prosthodontics, orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, and periodontics is highly desirable. Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations ensures confidentiality of medical records and patient information. Ability to perform dental assisting duties confidently while managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients of all ages and backgrounds. Experience in dental office or clinic settings demonstrates familiarity with daily operations and medical documentation standards.
