Calista is having a baby! Compassionate Dentistry is seeking a temporary dental assistant to cover maternity leave, starting the last week of October. We are a fun and family friendly dental practice that strives to provide quality, patient-centered dental care in a positive, compassionate and efficient manner. Qualified candidates will have the below skills: Impeccable sterile technique Have excellent verbal/written skills, be professional and have an outstanding work ethic Must have that "Go Getter" attitude and want to be part of a fun/successful team Great follow through/resolve Attention to detail/complete tasks with precision and accuracy Fast learning capability with appropriate office software EFDA, sealant and soft reline certifications a plus Duties include but not limited to: Take x-rays Assist doctor with dental procedures Prepare patients for treatment Patient education and oral hygiene instruction Accurate charting Stock rooms and order supplies Sterilize instrument Equipment maintenance and upkeep Answer phone calls with a smile Checking patients in and out Scheduling appointments Other duties as assigned Typical week: 4 days/week, 9 hours/day Compensation commensurate with education and experience.
