  • Assist the dentist during dental procedures
  • Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
  • Take dental x-rays
  • Record patient information, medical history, and vital signs
  • Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
  • Perform dental receptionist duties as needed
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
  • Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff. Experience To be successful in this role, you should have the following skills and qualifications:
  • Previous experience working in a dental office or similar healthcare setting
  • Proficiency in dental software systems, such as Open Dental
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and dental procedures
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with patients
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
