Lab Assistant(s) (full-time & part-time) needed for our Dental Assistant Program. • The Lab Assistant works under the supervision of the instructor to assist students in the lab environment.

• Classes are taught Monday-Thursday . We currently have day classes, but evening options may become available as the program grows. Full-time positions receive Med/Dent/Vision/Life/LTD Insurance; vacation, personal time, 11 paid holidays, 401(k) matching, Bereavement, Employee Assistance Regular Part-time positions receive Personal time, 11 paid holidays, 401(k) matching, Bereavement, Employee Assistance Program Competitive pay based on Experience Under the supervision and direction of the instructor, the lab assistant directs students in hands-on learning covering dental assistant procedures, radiography, infection control, and patient care The incumbent will have the ability to show students how dental anatomy and terminology learned in the classroom transfers to the hands-on skills needed to perform the work This position is "in-person" at the GLIT campus in Erie PA. The lab assistant will assist the instructor with monitoring student records of attendance and progress reports Strict adherence to all accreditation standards, school policies, and approved curriculum is required The incumbent must have excellent communication skills, computer skills, and the ability to relate to students, which is required to ensure appropriate transfer of skills in the lab environment. Must be a graduate from a dental assistant program with a minimum of 1 year of experience as a dental assistant.
