Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during dental procedures
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
• Take and develop dental x-rays
• Record patient medical history and vital signs
• Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
• Maintain a clean and organized dental office environment
• Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality

Skills:

• Proficient in medical imaging techniques for dental x-rays
• Strong dental assisting skills, including chairside assistance and instrument sterilization
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient privacy laws
