USP Lewisburg, Lewisburg, PA Position:
On-Site |
Federal Correctional Healthcare Openings:
2 Schedule Monday-Friday Approximately 7:30 AM-4:00 PM 30-40 patient sessions per week Schedule may vary based on facility needs Job Summary We are seeking qualified Certified Dental Assistants to provide clinical and administrative support in a federal correctional healthcare facility. Responsibilities Assist dentists with chair-side procedures Perform dental X-rays, including intra-oral and extra-oral radiology Support operative dentistry, prosthetics, endodontics, and oral surgery Prepare and sterilize dental instruments Assist with preventive and oral hygiene care Maintain dental charts and clinical documentation Assist with scheduling, filing, and dental supplies Required Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Dental Assistant program Pennsylvania Radiology Certification Current CPR certification through American Red Cross or American Heart Association At least 1 year of dental radiology experience At least 18 months of Dental Assistant or Dental Hygienist experience At least 6 months of current clinical experience Training in dental radiology and radiation safety Pharmacy-related education or training Good English communication skills Ability to work on-site at a federal correctional facility Must be able to pass required background check, fingerprinting, employment verification, and drug screening
Preferred:
Spanish bilingual skills and previous correctional healthcare experience.
Pay:
$25.00 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
