Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Dental Receptionist to join our vibrant dental team. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment. Your expertise in managing patient interactions, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, and handling dental records will be essential to providing exceptional patient care and supporting the smooth operation of our dental practice. If you thrive in a firendly stress-free setting, possess strong organizational skills, and are passionate about delivering outstanding customer service, this opportunity is perfect for you! •Spanish Bilingual is a must•Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and professionally, creating a positive first impression Schedule and confirm patient appointments using dental practice management software such as Dentrix and Yapi tecting system Verify insurance coverage, benefits, and eligibility using Dentrix and or direct Insrurance sites Collect payments, process billing, and perform dental collections accurately and efficiently Manage electronic dental records systems including e-claims platforms to ensure precise documentation and attachments along with, review and updates Answer multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette; direct calls appropriately Maintain organized dental records, ensure compliance with HIPAA and clinical confidentiality policies Assist with insurance claim submissions Handle patient intake procedures, update medical histories, and facilitate smooth clinic flow Qualifications Proven experience as a Dental Receptionist in a dental clinic or healthcare setting Strong knowledge of dental terminology, dental insurance processes, and health information management systems Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Dentrix, E platforms Insurance verification, and Medicare documentation Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly in accordance with HIPAA regulations Bilingual abilities are a must to effectively communicate with diverse patient populations Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in clinical documentation review and data entry Ability to manage multi-line phone systems efficiently while maintaining professionalism at all times Join our team to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives by providing outstanding receptionist support in a friendly and professional environment.
