Expanded Functions Dental Assistants duties are, but are not limited to, greeting and seating patients, reviewing medical history, preparing patient for dental procedures, performing prophylaxis, operating dental x-ray equipment to capture images of teeth, educating patients on proper oral hygiene and care after dental procedures, chairside assisting, patient charting.

Radiology Coronal Polishing Nitrous Monitoring Sealants Certification Restorative Function Certification This is a very fast paced, pediatric dental office. Your core skills in general dentistry and knowledge of anatomy will be essential, while premium skills in X-ray procedures will enhance patient management. With a focus on teamwork and patient comfort, you will contribute significantly to the efficiency and success of our dental team. Qualifications Certification as a Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) Proficient in chairside assisting and dental terminology Experience with general dentistry practices Knowledge of aseptic techniques and anatomy Ability to perform X-rays and understand pediatric dentistry Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation
