About Us Blue Plum Dental is a patient-focused dental practice in Johnson City, Tennessee, committed to providing high-quality care in a welcoming and collaborative environment. Our team values clinical excellence, teamwork, and creating a positive experience for every patient. We are looking for a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. An Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) is welcome and encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate is dependable, team-oriented, and confident assisting with a variety of dental procedures. Implant experience is strongly preferred. Schedule Monday - Thursday 7:45 AM - 5:00 PM Responsibilities Assist the dentist during exams, restorative procedures, and other dental treatments Prepare treatment rooms and maintain appropriate infection control and sterilization standards Take and develop dental radiographs as permitted by certification and applicable regulations Provide chairside support while maintaining patient comfort and safety Prepare and maintain dental instruments, materials, and equipment Assist with implant procedures and related treatment when applicable Support efficient patient flow and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment Educate patients on treatment instructions and assist with post-operative care Maintain accurate clinical records and follow practice protocols Work collaboratively with the entire dental team to provide an exceptional patient experience Qualifications RDA certification required Radiology certification required EFDA certification or expanded functions experience is welcomed Previous dental assisting experience preferred Implant experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Commitment to patient care, teamwork, and clinical quality What We Offer Monday-Thursday schedule Supportive and collaborative team environment Opportunity to work alongside an experienced clinical team Opportunities to utilize and expand your clinical skills Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits for eligible employees Blue Plum Dental is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
