Job Description

We are looking for a dependable, friendly, and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team on a temporary basis while one of our assistants is out on maternity leave. We are committed to providing excellent, comprehensive care in a professional and welcoming environment. We are looking for someone who is a team player, has strong sense of integrity, and genuinely enjoys helping patients feel comfortable and cared for. Temporary Dental Assistant - Maternity Leave Coverage Responsibilities Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures Prepare treatment rooms and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment Take dental X-rays as permitted by state regulations Assist with sterilization and infection-control procedures Prepare instruments and materials for procedures Provide excellent patient care and help patients feel comfortable Assist with room turnover and daily clinical duties Maintain accurate and organized patient records Work collaboratively with the dentist, hygienists, and front-office team Follow OSHA, infection-control, and office protocols Qualifications Dental assisting experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Reliable, punctual, and professional Positive attitude and willingness to be part of a team This is an excellent opportunity for a dental assistant who wants to gain experience with a great team. There may also be an opportunity for continued employment with the practice depending on future staffing needs and mutual fit.
Pay:
$18.00 - $25.00 per hour
