If you enjoy building relationships with patients, working as part of a supportive team, and helping create a positive experience for every patient, we'd love to meet you. Duties Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing dental instruments, setting up necessary equipment, and ensuring all tools are ready for procedures Assist dentists chairside during various treatments including general dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry Take and develop dental x-rays and medical imaging, ensuring adherence to infection prevention management protocols Manage patient records using electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft, maintaining clinical confidentiality policies Collect vital signs and medical history information to support comprehensive patient assessments Educate patients on oral health care practices and post-treatment instructions to promote optimal outcomes Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment following infection control standards and aseptic techniques Requirements Valid certification as a Registered Dental Assistant with current licensure in the applicable region Proven experience with dental assisting in a clinical setting, including familiarity with dental terminology and equipment Proficiency in dental sterilization procedures and infection prevention management practices Knowledge of dental x-ray techniques, oral surgery procedures, and pediatric dentistry protocols Experience using patient management software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft for scheduling and record keeping Ability to perform chairside assisting with four-handed dentistry techniques efficiently Strong understanding of anatomy knowledge relevant to dentistry and medical documentation standards Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients of all ages, including pediatrics Join us to be part of a passionate team dedicated to delivering outstanding dental care while advancing your professional skills.
