Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our vibrant dental team. Duties Assist dentists during a variety of treatment procedures, including general dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing and organizing dental instruments and equipment according to infection prevention management protocols Take and develop dental x-rays, including 3D scans, ensuring adherence to dental sterilization procedures and aseptic techniques Manage patient records using electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or similar software while maintaining clinical confidentiality policies Monitor vital signs and medical documentation to support comprehensive patient care and ensure safety during procedures Educate patients on oral health practices and post-treatment care to promote ongoing dental wellness Support front desk operations by assisting the dental receptionist with patient management software and scheduling as needed Experience Proven experience working as a Dental Assistant in a busy dental clinic environment with exposure to general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, or prosthodontics preferred Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, dental equipment operation, and medical terminology relevant to dentistry Hands-on experience with dental x-ray techniques and medical imaging technology including 3D scanners is highly desirable Familiarity with infection control standards and sterilization procedures aligned with healthcare infection prevention and control expertise Proficiency in using dental practice management software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft for patient records and appointment scheduling Ability to perform chairside assisting with four-handed dentistry techniques efficiently in a fast-paced setting Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure the confidentiality of all patient medical records and documentation Join us if you're passionate about delivering top-tier patient care while advancing your skills in a supportive environment that values professionalism, teamwork, and continuous learning.
