Job Description

Our office is looking for a friendly, reliable, and caring Dental Assistant to join our team! In this vital role, you will assist general dentists during a variety of procedures, ensure accurate medical and dental documentation, and provide exceptional patient support. You must possess a current BLS certification and current Registered Dental Assistant license .

Responsibilities Include Assisting the dentists during procedures including fillings, crowns, extractions, limited orthodontics, and implants Taking vital signs, medical histories, and dental X-rays Preparing and turning over treatment rooms Helping with sterilization and infection-control procedures Managing dental records using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Dentrix and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations Preparing instruments and materials Educating patients on post-treatment care, oral hygiene practices, and treatment procedures to foster understanding and cooperation. Helping with patient flow and comfort Restocking supplies Supporting the dental team wherever needed What We Offer We want the right person to feel like a valued member of our team.
