The candidate should possess a self-motivated positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a desire to make each visit a pleasant environment for our patients. At least 1 year of experience in orthodontics and an RDA are preferred, but not required. Our office hours are Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Responsibilities include:

• Provides outstanding customer service with patients as #1 priority; partnering with staff, successfully resolves patient complaints, concerns, and questions in a timely manner.
• Fully assists orthodontists in the process of treating patients.
• Take digital x-rays.
• Takes intra and extraoral pictures
• Provides patients with instructions for oral care following appointments and procedures
• Teach patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to improve or maintain oral health while having braces.
• Performs operatory set up and break down
• Sterilizes instruments
• Effectively understands and utilizes office dental software (Experience with Ortho2 Edge is a plus)
• Arriving on time to provide an adequate amount of time to set up for the day
• Setting up patient trays, stock rooms and cleaning the office.
