Our office consist of only 7 staff members. Office hours are Monday
  • Wednesday 8:30 am
  • 5:30 pm and Thursday 7:00 am
  • 4:00 pm.
Our ideal candidate for the RDA position should be punctual, a team player, self-starter, and well organized. They will be the only Dental Assistant for the Dr. and will be responsible for all assisting duties including, but not limited to: Chairside assisting, sterilization of operatory's & instruments, maintaining equipment, managing adequate supplies, lab duties, treatment planning & reviewing pre/post op instructions. All applicants should email their resume to Responsibilities Welcome patients in treatment areas Prepare patients for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed Sterilize instruments according to regulations Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry Undertake lab tasks as instructed Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions Keep the dental treatment room clean and well-stocked Assist in any other office duties as needed Skills Proven experience as dental assistant Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods Understanding of health & safety regulations Knowledge of Dentrix is a plus Excellent communication and people skills Attention to detail Well-organized and reliable Currently in good standing with TSBDE license Additional certification or training is an asset
