We are a growing pediatric dental office and looking to add to our team. The ideal candidate is someone that enjoys being in a team-oriented environment, sincerely loves working with kids, friendly and respectful toward everyone. This position is full-time (4 days a week). At least 1 year dental assisting experience recommended. Experience with orthodontic assisting is highly preferred . Pay will be based on experience and skill level. RDA and CPR certification is required. Our office hours are Monday through Thursday 8am-4pm currently. Please include resume and references if possible. Duties
  • Assist the dentist during dental procedures including oral and IV sedation.
  • Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures.
  • Proficient in obtaining digital radiographs on pediatric patients.
  • Perform dental charting and documentation using electronic health record systems using Archy.
  • Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care.
  • Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
  • Assist with infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment.
  • Perform basic laboratory tasks.
  • Orthodontic assisting experience or genuine willingness to learn orthodontic assisting is a requirement.
  • Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records. Experience
  • Previous experience as a dental assistant preferred
  • Knowledge of dental anatomy, terminology, and procedures
  • Proficiency in dental assisting techniques, including four-handed dentistry
  • Familiarity with infection control protocols and OSHA regulations
  • Experience taking dental x-rays and using digital radiography systems
  • Ability to use electronic health record systems for medical documentation
