About Us Prosper Family Dentistry is looking for a dependable, team-oriented Registered Dental Assistant to join our practice in Prosper, TX. Our assistants play an important role in creating an exceptional patient experience while helping our doctors provide efficient, high-quality care. We're looking for someone who takes pride in staying organized, supporting their team, and creating a welcoming environment for every patient.
Schedule Full-Time Monday-Thursday:
7:00 AM-3:00
PM Friday:
7:00 AM-12:30 PM Enjoy an early start and finish, with Friday afternoons free! What You'll Do As a Dental Assistant, you'll work closely with your doctor to keep patient care running smoothly from start to finish.
Responsibilities include:
Assist the doctor chairside during a variety of dental procedures. Prepare, stock, organize, and maintain clean operatories. Manage patient flow and help keep the doctor's schedule running efficiently. Take and manipulate digital radiographs and iCAT images. Take TRIOS and iTero digital scans as directed by the doctors. Take and upload intraoral and extraoral clinical photographs. Complete accurate patient notes the same day as each visit. Communicate completed procedures and prescribed treatment with the business team to support accurate scheduling, billing, and reporting. Manage lab cases for your doctor, including fabrication of retainers and trays. Support sterilization throughout the day to maintain an efficient clinical flow. Assist other doctors, dental assistants, and hygienists as needed. Complete requested equipment and clinical maintenance procedures. Follow all OSHA, infection control, and radiation safety guidelines. Stay current with advancements in dentistry by completing continuing education. What We're Looking For Current Texas State Board of Dental Examiners (TSBDE) Registered Dental Assistant license . Current CPR certification . Strong chairside assisting and clinical skills. Comfortable working with digital dental technology and imaging. Organized and able to manage multiple responsibilities throughout the day. Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
