Job Description
Looking for an experienced DA to join our top notch team. We are a smaller office that emphasizes high quality dental services with a personal touch.. We specialize in comprehensive adult rehab but also have some chidren and young families. Extractions, bone grafting with membranes, Implant placement & restoration, crown and bridge, endo are our most common procedures. Always making high quality temp crowns with proper Occlusion. Must love educating patients, helping them understand treatment plans and why procedures are recommended. Willing to do some training with OPEN Dental software, 3D and digital scanning for intra-oral impressions. But we really value experience and work ethic. So must have X-ray certification, proficiency in making temps and basic knowledge of all dental procedures.
JOB DESCRIPTION LIST
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures: Implant Surgery & Restoration 3D Scanning and Designing Implant Placement (OP 3D Scanner) Digital Scanning for crown & bridge (Primescan) dentures, study models, night guards Making custom temporary crowns & bridges
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for dental procedures
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Pano, FMX, 3D
- Perform dental charting and recordkeeping
OPEN DENTAL
software- Provide patient education and review treatment plan for current day's tx
- Post operative care for scheduled treatment
- Sterilize and maintain dental equipment and instruments
- Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records ```Qualifications```
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program
- X-ray certification
- Knowledge of
OPEN DENTAL
software systems (SIMILARTO DENTRIX
)- Experience in oral surgery, endo, implant placement/restoration is a plus
- Familiarity with dentall coding and billing practices
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols
- Proficiency in dental imaging techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting the dentist during dental procedures and ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients.
