Please note:
this is a part time position. The training period may be full time (depending on trainee's availability). After training is completed, shifts are Monday afternoons (1 pm-5 pm) and Wednesdays (7 am-5 pm).
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant specializing in hygiene to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support our dentist in providing high-quality care to our patients, ensuring a comfortable and efficient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform dental hygiene cleanings & assist the Dentist in exams Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment Take and process digital dental radiographs (X-rays) Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the dental office
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; dental assistant certification not required Previous experience in a dental office or clinical setting is a plus Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is a plus Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills Experience in using dental software a plus, but not required
