We have unique hours and are looking for someone who can do at least one evening a week 6pm-10pm and most Saturdays from 8am-1pm. Also, we are usually open Fridays 8am-5pm. We are pretty flexible with hours and can also provide some on the job training. We look forward to hearing from you! Spanish speaking would be a huge plus! My spanish is too mediocre! Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms with dental instruments, materials, and equipment, ensuring all tools are sterilized according to infection prevention management protocols. Assist dentists during various procedures such as oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry, providing chairside support with precision and care. Take and develop dental x-rays using digital imaging systems like Eaglesoft or Dentrix, ensuring accurate medical documentation while adhering to HIPAA privacy standards. Manage patient management software to schedule appointments, update medical records, and facilitate smooth patient flow throughout the clinic. Monitor vital signs and assist in assessing patient comfort before, during, and after treatments to promote optimal patient care experiences. Maintain clinical confidentiality policies by securely handling medical records and ensuring compliance with healthcare infection prevention and control policies. Support dental sterilization procedures and dental instrument processing to uphold the highest standards of aseptic technique and infection control. Qualifications Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role within a dental clinic environment. Proficiency with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Patient Management Software. Knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, and anatomy relevant to dental procedures. Familiarity with dental equipment including 3D scanners, X-ray machines, dental sterilization devices, and other clinical tools. Ability to perform dental x-ray procedures accurately while following radiation safety guidelines. Strong understanding of infection prevention management practices and healthcare infection control expertise. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages, including pediatric dentistry cases.
