Schedule:

Part-time, 2-3 days per week Fairfax Complete Dental is a busy, growing dental practice in Fairfax, Virginia, looking for a reliable, friendly, and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with patients, takes pride in their work, and wants to be part of a supportive, close-knit dental team . The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, personable, and comfortable working in a busy clinical environment. Responsibilities Assist the dentist and/or hygienist during a variety of dental procedures Prepare treatment rooms and instruments Take digital dental X-rays Assist with restorative, prosthodontic, periodontal, and surgical procedures Take alginate and putty impressions for dentures and invisaligns Make provisional crowns and bridges (temporary) Set up and break down operatories efficiently Maintain a clean, organized, and properly sterilized treatment environment Provide friendly and professional chairside support to patients Assist with patient records and clinical documentation Communicate effectively with the dentist, hygienist, and front office team Follow OSHA and infection-control protocols Help keep the daily schedule running smoothly What We're Looking For Previous dental assisting experience

REQUIRED

Dental assisting certification is a plus X-ray certification and CPR certification preferred Reliable, punctual, and professional Friendly and compassionate with patients Strong communication and interpersonal skills Organized and able to multitask in a busy office Positive attitude and willingness to learn Works well as part of a team Strong attention to detail We are willing to train the right candidate who has a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and genuine interest in dentistry.
