Job Description
This is a part-time position, currently scheduled for two days per week , with the possibility of additional days in the future.

Job Overview Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Assistant, where your energy and expertise will directly enhance patient care and support the smooth operation of our clinic. In this vital role, you will assist dentist during procedures, manage patient records, and ensure the highest standards of infection control and clinical confidentiality. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will contribute to creating a welcoming environment for patients seeking general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and other specialized treatments. Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms with dental instruments, supplies, and sterilized equipment following infection prevention management protocols. Assist dentist chairside during various procedures including oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and general dentistry treatments. Take and develop dental x-rays using dental x-ray equipment and 3D scanners while adhering to radiation safety standards. Manage patient management software and electronic medical records (EMR systems) using Curve for accurate documentation of medical and dental history. Perform dental instrument processing including sterilization procedures in accordance with infection control policies. Record vital signs and medical documentation to ensure comprehensive patient care and compliance with clinical confidentiality policies. Support patient management by providing clear explanations of procedures using dental terminology and ensuring comfort throughout visits. Qualifications Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar dental clinic environment with knowledge of dental assisting practices. Familiarity with EMR systems such as Curve, along with proficiency in medical documentation and records management. Strong understanding of dental terminology, equipment operation, and infection prevention management techniques including aseptic technique. Knowledge of pediatric dentistry, oral surgery procedures, endodontics, prosthodontics, and general dentistry is highly desirable. Ability to perform X-ray procedures accurately while maintaining safety standards; certification in dental x-ray is preferred. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, team members, and healthcare professionals.
