Job Description
Overview One Endodontics is a state of the art new Endodontic practice in the Falls Church , Sterling and Gainesville Virginia area. Our dedicated doctors strive to provide endodontic care in a comfortable, caring environment. We are looking for a dedicated dental assistant to join our growing Endodontic practice.
Responsibilities may include:
Greeting patients to the office and ensure patient information updated in system Assisting the endodontist during a variety of treatment procedures Administering patient x-rays, digital and CBCT Reviewing patient's medical history and taking blood pressure and pulse Review patient charts prior to doctor arrival, log appropriate patient data and health history during the exam and treatment, as well as transcribe the doctor's notes Helping patients feel comfortable before, during and after dental treatment Setting up and organize instruments Clean, sterilize and prepare the equipment and operatory, per the organizations procedures and guidelines, prior to a patient's appointment Perform infection control procedures to meet OSHA and CDC standards Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures Assist the office administrator in scheduling patients' follow up visits, as well as tracking the incoming and outgoing lab cases, to ensure quality and timely products Support the front desk when needed, including scheduling appointments, processing payments and insurance claims Salary based on experience.Ideal Candidate:
