$24.00 - $29.00 per hour Job description: Job Summary We are seeking a full-time dedicated, and skilled Dental Assistant to join our growing dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental office. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for patients. We are seeking a team-oriented person to join us. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and materials Chairside assisting to the dentist to complete dental procedures, including, but not limited to: cleanings, restorative (filling and crown), endodontics, periodontics, oral surgery, and implant placement Assist Hygienists (time permitting) Take digital dental radiographs (X-rays) while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain accurate patient records and manage medical records systems in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed to maintain a safe environment. Support patients with empathy and care, ensuring their comfort during visits. Able to work Monday- Friday Experience Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is required. Knowledge of dental imaging techniques and X-ray procedures is required. Experience with infection control practices in a dental setting is required. Proficiency in Dentrix systems will be beneficial.
