MUST HAVE ORTHODONTIC ASSISTING OR DENTAL ASSISTING EXPERIENCE.

In this vital role, you will work closely with orthodontists to provide exceptional patient care, support clinical procedures, and ensure a smooth, efficient workflow. Duties Assist orthodontists during chairside procedures, including placement and removal of braces, elastics, and other orthodontic appliances Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing and organizing dental instruments and equipment in accordance with infection prevention management protocols Take dental x-rays and 3D scans using advanced imaging technology while maintaining clinical confidentiality policies Manage patient records accurately within electronic medical record (EMR) systems using Orthotrac and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations Educate patients on oral hygiene practices related to orthodontic care, including appliance maintenance and dietary restrictions Support dental sterilization procedures and aseptic techniques to uphold the highest standards of infection control Requirements Proven experience in dental assisting, specifically within orthodontics preferred Strong knowledge of dental terminology, equipment, and orthodontic clinical procedures Understanding of healthcare infection prevention and control practices including dental sterilization procedures and aseptic technique Excellent communication skills for patient management and collaboration with team members Certification in dental assisting Join us in delivering top-tier orthodontic care where your skills make a real difference!
