Our second building is opening next month and we are looking for a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) who is compassionate, team-oriented, and excited to grow with us. Flexibility, positivity, and strong communication are key traits for success in our environment.
What We're Looking For:
Experience is preferred but not required•we love training and mentoring new dental assistants Familiarity with dental software (Open Dental, DTX3, Xray Vision, Weave) is a plus Knowledge of common dental procedures (crowns, root canals, extractions) is beneficial Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to patient confidentiality Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and teammates Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Required Credentials (upon hire): Active Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or EFDA license Current CPR/First Aid certification
Job Responsibilities:
Assist dentists during exams and procedures across general dentistry Prepare and set up instruments and materials Take dental X-rays in compliance with safety protocols Record and monitor patient vital signs Maintain accurate and up-to-date digital records Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care Manage appointment scheduling and treatment planning Adhere to infection control procedures and manage sterilization areas Maintain a clean and organized back-office environment Help with all other back-office clinical duties as needed
