Job Description

We're Expanding Our Team! Twin City Smiles Family Dentistry is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Clinical Dental Assistant to join our expanding practice in Centralia, WA. We are a modern, patient-centered practice that provides comprehensive general dentistry with a strong focus on same-day emergency care, dental implants, extractions, root canal therapy, and restorative dentistry . We are seeking a highly motivated Dental Assistant who is confident with advanced procedures, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care. Whether you're looking for full-time or part-time , we'd love to meet you. Responsibilities Assist the doctor during implant placement and implant restorations . Provide chairside assistance for routine and surgical extractions . Assist with root canal therapy, crown and bridge procedures, fillings, and other restorative treatments . Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for advanced procedures. Take diagnostic-quality digital radiographs and intraoral photographs. Seat patients, review medical histories, and obtain vital signs as needed. Educate patients on treatment and provide pre- and post-operative instructions. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and treatment notes. Follow sterilization and infection control protocols. Work collaboratively with the front office and clinical team to provide efficient patient flow, including same-day emergency appointments. Deliver an outstanding patient experience with professionalism, compassion, and teamwork. Qualifications Washington State Dental Assistant Registration required. Minimum of 2 years of chairside dental assisting experience preferred.
Experience assisting with:
Dental implants Surgical and routine extractions Root canal therapy Crown and bridge procedures Same-day emergency dentistry Proficient with digital radiography. Ability to obtain a diagnostic-quality Full Mouth Series (FMX) in approximately 10 minutes. Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills. Ability to remain calm, efficient, and compassionate in a busy clinical environment. Positive attitude, dependable attendance, and commitment to providing exceptional patient care. Schedule Full-time and Part-time opportunities available. Hours may vary based on the assigned schedule and practice needs. Typical shifts fall between 6:30 AM and 7:00 PM , Monday through Friday. Pay:
$19.50 - $29.25 per hour
