Sea Mar's network of services includes more than 90 medical, dental, and behavioral health clinics and a wide variety of nutritional, social, and educational services. We are recruiting for the following position: Sea Mar is a mandatory COVID-19 and flu vaccine organization Dental Assistant I (Sea Mar Community Health Centers) Sea Mar is seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to support dental providers and deliver quality patient care. This role includes chairside assistance, patient education, infection control, and supporting clinic operations. Key Responsibilities Provide chairside assistance using four-handed dentistry across multiple procedures Escort and greet patients; ensure patient comfort and confidentiality Assist with patient charting, vitals, and dental documentation in Dentrix/Allscripts Maintain sterilization and infection control standards Support scheduling, inventory, supply ordering, and quality improvement activities Train new staff and assist with competency testing and ongoing education Qualifications Completion of a formal Dental Assistant program or 1+ year experience Washington State DOH Dental Assistant Registration required BLS CPR required within 90 days of hire Strong infection control and patient communication skills Bilingual English/Spanish preferred Sea Mar is an Equal Opportunity Employer and offers a competitive benefits package.
