$18.00-$24.00 per hour, based on experience Step By Step Pediatric Dentistry is looking for a friendly, dependable, and team-oriented Dental Assistant to join our positive and organized pediatric dental office. No prior dental assisting experience? That's okay! We are willing to train the right person from scratch. We value a positive attitude, willingness to learn, reliability, and a genuine interest in working with children. Whether you are an experienced dental assistant or completely new to the field, we are interested in meeting motivated individuals who want to learn and grow with our team. Responsibilities Assist the doctor during pediatric dental procedures Learn and perform dental assisting duties with training and guidance Take digital x-rays and chart accurately once trained Prepare and turn over treatment rooms efficiently Learn and follow sterilization and infection control protocols Help create a calm, positive, and welcoming experience for children and parents Support the clinical team and help keep the day running smoothly Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment Continue learning and developing dental assisting skills Requirements Dental assisting experience preferred but not required Willingness to learn and train from scratch Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills Dependable, responsible, and eager to learn Excellent communication with patients, parents, and team members Organized and able to keep up in a busy practice Comfortable working with children Patient, caring, and able to help children feel comfortable Pediatric dental experience is a plus, but not required We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, supports their teammates, is eager to learn, and wants to help create a great patient experience every day.
