Job Description

Dungeness Dental is seeking an experienced and motivated Dental Assistant to join our growing team. This is a full-time position (32-34 hours per week), Monday through Thursday , offering an excellent opportunity to work alongside a skilled team that is committed to providing exceptional patient care in a positive, supportive environment. We are looking for a team player with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a desire for continuous professional growth. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year chairside dental assisting experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. We provide a wide range of dental services, including: Fillings and restorative dentistry Crown and bridge procedures Root canal therapy Extractions Dentures Dental implants Dental Assistant responsibilities
Include:
Assisting and anticipating the needs of the Dentist during dental procedures Preparing treatment rooms for patient care Taking digital radiographs and intra oral photos Utilizing intraoral scanners for digital impressions Sterilizing instruments and maintaining infection control protocols Educating patients on treatment and oral hygiene instructions Taking and recording patient medical histories and vital information Maintaining accurate clinical records and documentation Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times Ensuring patient comfort and delivering exceptional customer service Stocking treatment rooms as needed
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of chairside dental assisting experience Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and infection control standards Experience with intraoral scanning technology (preferred, but willing to train the right candidate) Strong interpersonal and organizational skills Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment Dependable, professional, and team-oriented
