Shift Details:

8 hours shift, 40 hours work week

Dental Assistant Duties & Responsibilities:

Prepare treatment rooms and patients for dental procedures. Assist the dentist by sterilizing instruments, suctioning, and passing instruments. Prepare and handle dental materials and supplies. Perform dental X-rays and assist with study casts. Fabricate temporary restorations and clean removable appliances. Assist with dental and medical emergencies; maintain CPR and emergency supplies. Provide oral hygiene and post-operative instructions. Document dental care and maintain patient confidentiality. Follow infection-control, safety, and sanitation protocols. Maintain professional knowledge and complete required training. Minimum Qualifications Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program or six(6) months of hands-on experience as a Dental Assistant. Minimum of one (1) year of Dental Assisting experience. Nitrous oxide certification and Coronal polishing certification. Current, valid, and unrestricted WI license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.
