Duties Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, including general dentistry and endodontics. Prepare treatment rooms by ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready for use. Employ aseptic techniques to maintain a clean and safe environment for patients. Take and process medical imaging as required for diagnostic purposes. Record vital signs and patient information accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Manage patient flow and ensure timely appointments while providing excellent customer service. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Collaborate with the dental team to improve clinic systems and processes. Perform four-handed dentistry to enhance efficiency during procedures. Experience Candidates should possess prior experience in dental assisting within a clinical setting. Familiarity with general dentistry practices, endodontics, medical imaging, and aseptic techniques is highly desirable. A strong understanding of HIPAA regulations is essential to ensure patient confidentiality.
