Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care and ensuring patient comfort. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The Dental Hygienist will be responsible for performing thorough patient assessments, executing preventive care, and educating patients on oral hygiene practices. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history and oral health evaluations. Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing procedures. Apply fluoride treatments and sealants as needed. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. Maintain accurate records and document patient treatments using Open Dental Collaborate with the dental team to develop individualized treatment plans for patients. Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.
