Looking for a dental hygienist to join our awesome Shea Dental Team. We have been a staple in the Scottsdale area for over 30 years. We do lean towards Holistic practices. Monday-Wednesday 8-4pm and Thursday 12-4pm Duties include:

• Perform dental hygiene procedures, including teeth cleaning, scaling, and polishing
• Taking dental x-rays
• Conduct oral cancer screenings
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral health care recommendations
• Laser certification
• Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed
• Assist the dentist during procedures and maintain a sterile environment
• Document patient treatment plans, progress notes, and other relevant information in dental software system Eaglesoft.
• Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean dental environment
• Valid dental hygiene license in AZ
• Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
• Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Eaglesoft
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and the dental team
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate patient records
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team We have a great team with long time employees and no drama!
