Requirements Valid state licensure as a Dental Hygienist with current certification to practice. Proven experience in general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, or dental clinic environments. Proficiency with dental terminology, medical terminology, and understanding of anatomy related to oral health. Familiarity with dental assisting procedures, chairside assisting skills, and infection control standards. Experience using EMR systems like Eaglesoft or Dentrix for documentation review and record keeping. Knowledge of pediatric dentistry principles for treating young patients effectively.
