We are looking for Thursday availability. Responsibilities Perform dental prophylaxis procedures, including cleaning teeth, scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments to maintain optimal oral health. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) using dental imaging equipment while adhering to safety protocols. Assist with chairside procedures by preparing instruments, materials, and dental equipment for various treatments. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care strategies, and post-treatment instructions to promote lifelong dental health. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records within Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems such as Eaglesoft ensuring HIPAA compliance and confidentiality. Follow strict infection prevention protocols using aseptic techniques to prevent cross-contamination and ensure patient safety. Skills Proficiency in dental software systems like Eaglesoft and Dentrix for documentation review and record management. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and general dentistry procedures. Experience with pediatric dentistry, including working with children in a compassionate and engaging manner. Skilled in four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize efficiency during procedures. Ability to accurately perform dental x-ray procedures while maintaining radiation safety standards. Excellent patient communication skills to educate patients effectively about dental care and treatment plans.
