We are a growing practice that is expanding and we are looking for a Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dental team and provide high-quality, individualized dental care. The position is for 1-3 days a week (flexible). The ideal candidate will be hardworking and detail oriented and have experience with a variety of treatments, including examination, cleaning, prevention, and education. Responsibilities:

Remove plaque, stains, and other dental build-up. Perform thorough examination of head and neck, gums, and tissues. Takes x-rays and assists as needed with x-rays. Administers anesthetic proficiently. Understand the basic functions of the human body, knowledge of general principles of dentistry and advanced knowledge of dental hygiene. Adhere to state and federal medical laws. Manage patient records. Maintains dental equipment and sharpens and sterilizes dental instruments. Greet patients politely and with respect. Be polite and communicative with patients, co-workers, and other office staff. Demonstrate proper infection control measures. Provides clinical services and health education to improve and maintain the oral health of patients.

Pay:

$50.00 - $60.00 per hour Expected hours: 8.0 - 24.0 per week
