Responsibilities Conduct initial dental assessments and consult with dentists on patient care Perform preventive dental care including cleaning, fluoride treatments, and sealants Take and process dental radiographs (x-rays) Educate patients on proper oral hygiene strategies, such as how to brush, floss, and manage oral health Assist in the management of oral health diseases by providing appropriate treatments Document and maintain treatment records accurately Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the practice Required Skills Proficiency in using dental health maintenance equipment Strong understanding of health and safety regulations Effective communication skills for patient education Ability to manage time efficiently Capacity to work independently and within a team Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
